March 1st is a special day for The Lane Group – On this day in 1996, Lane Engineering (LE) was formed. We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU  to our clients for making this possible! We look forward to serving your needs for the next 20 years. Listed below are notable points of interest as we celebrate our firm’s 20th Anniversary:

1996 – Located in Kingsport, TN offering Civil Engineering services.1997 - Located in Big Stone Gap, VA 1998 – LE offers Environmental services 2002 – LE offers Architectural services 2004 – Chilhowie, VA office is opened 2005 – LE offers Surveying services 2006 – LE offers Geotechnical Engineering services 2007 – Lane Engineering merges with JA Gibson & Associates 2007 – Wytheville, VA office is opened 2007 – Lane Engineering changes name to The Lane Group (TLG) 2013 – TLG merges with Adams-Heath Engineering 2013 – Galax, VA office is opened 2015 - Chilhowie office is relocated to Abingdon, VA. 2016 – TLG employees 40 people with three office locations and are licensed in five states.
